Marina is a performance artist and instructor residing in Santa Cruz,
CA. She has been performing dance for over 20 years. Throughout her
life, Marina has performed modern, ballet, jazz, tap, flamenco, african,
highland, hip hop, hula, aerial, fire and belly dance, and is also trained
in gymnastics. She is also a member of Desert
Dream Dance Company, a belly dance company, Nocturnal
Sunshine fire dance company, and Mir
& a Co. aerial dance company. She is a former member of Seher
and the UCSB Middle Eastern Dance Ensemble and Motion
Theatre Dance Company, a modern dance company in Santa Barbara.
Marina believes she can find endless ways of expressing herself through
dance and continues to study new forms, the most recent being adagio
dance and Axis Syllabus.
